CareerStep SMS TERMS OF SERVICE
These CareerStep SMS Terms of Service (the “SMS Terms”) govern the provision, receipt, and delivery of text messages by or on behalf the Penn Foster Group, including any brand within the Penn Foster Group family, including Penn Foster College, Penn Foster Career School, Penn Foster High School, Ashworth College, James Madison High School a, New York Institute of Art & Design, and New York Institute of Photography (collectively “we,” “us,” or “our”). Depending on the consent you’ve provided, our text messages (the “CareerStep Texts”): (1) provide you with information you requested from us, such as information about your applications and enrollments in our programs; (2) provide updates or other information regarding your transactions with us, including providing information about financial requirements associated with your CareerStep enrollment; and/or (3) respond to other inquiries regarding your relationship with CareerStep.
E-SIGN DISCLOSURE AND AGREEMENT
By providing your consent to receive CareerStep Texts (as described below), you also consent to the use of an electronic record to document your agreement. You may withdraw your consent to the use of the electronic record by emailing us at with “Revoke Electronic Consent” in the subject line. These SMS Terms will still apply if you withdraw consent to the use of an electronic record.
To view and retain a copy of this disclosure or any information regarding your enrollment in this program, you will need (i) a device (such as a computer or mobile phone) with a web browser and Internet access and (ii) either a printer or storage space on such device. ELIGIBILITY
By consenting to receive CareerStep Texts, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older and understand the obligations and agree to the terms set forth in these SMS Terms and the Terms of Use. You further represent that you are the subscriber to the relevant phone number or that you are the customary user of that number on a family or business plan and for which you are authorized to opt into CareerStep Texts.
HOW TO OPT-IN
You can provide us with your consent to receive CareerStep Texts by providing us with your phone number when requesting information from CareerStep or when enrolling for courses. By providing consent, you authorize us to use automated or nonautomated technology to send Career Step Texts to the number associated with your consent. We may send you a welcome message confirming your enrollment. By providing your consent, you agree to these SMS Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use.
HOW TO OPT-OUT
Text STOP to the ten-digit phone number to opt out. You must separately opt out of each number from which you’ve provided us with consent to receive CareerStep Texts.

MODIFICATIONS TO THESE SMS TERMS OR THE CAREERSTEP TEXTS PROGRAM
We reserve the right to modify these SMS Terms, or any part thereof, or add or remove terms at any time, and such modifications, additions or deletions will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued enrollment in CareerStep Texts shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by you of such modifications, additions, or deletions.
We reserve the right to terminate the CareerStep Texts program, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any CareerStep Text may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays.
